Hi guys. Every now and then I see where some random guy stumbles upon a great deal at a mustang show or a car parts swap meet. Do any of you know of opportunities like that in so-cal?

I'm in the market for new or used fiberglass hood but I'm on a pretty strict budget. I'm checking craigslist and ebay pretty regularly but I haven't found the right deal.

give these guys a call http://www.gtrhipo.com/ I was down there last week and they had a couple of CF hoods that were discounted big time. I know one was for 87-93 Fox but I think the other was for S197

I messaged with Gonzalo. They have a CF Saleen style hood that they're selling for a customer. It's a pretty decent deal and I'm open to CF or painted black hoods but I think I want a style that's a little more definitely different than stock.

I realized after I posted the info on the CF hoods that you said fiberglass.I've had carbon fiber stuck in my head lately

I'm friends with the guys at Trufiber that make some killer hoods so I'm allways thinking CF when someone asks about a hood.

I did'nt plan on changing my stock hood but after seeing this Saleen powerflow hood on a white 2011 Mustang at a show I'm having second thoughts

the Saleen hood is $1599.00 but there are others that are much cheaper that look cool.
