Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Kevin, do you think you can make the Dragon again this year? Looking forward to seeing you guys at Pro-Dyno.

I think the 28th would work out well. Nice wheels!

4/28th works for me as well. I will have to get a room so hotel availability is a must. I also might join for the snake run, not much farther than greensboro from here.

What about a gtg in Greenville on January 28th? I believe we had a volunteer a few post ago for coordination?

I plan on it for sure. As for Pro Dyno, I don't plan to cycle my car but I want to be there for the fun and hang out with the group. My 4.0 V6 isn't dyno material. LOL.

I will get more info on both soon.

Possible next meet - 4/7 - Raleigh. This is the Saturday before Easter. What are your thoughts on this?

I know there is a lot of interest in going back to the Dragon again this spring. I checked with the Microtel Inn for the nights of April 28th and May 5th. It appears either the Minis or the Miatas are there on the 5th and they only have 8 rooms left. The night of April 28th is wide open right now. Either night they will give us the motorcycle discount, the rates are $77 for 2 queens and $67 for 1 queen +tax. Microtel is about the only game in town other than some small places that seem to cater more to the bikes. And the cost is pretty reasonable.

I am not sure how many would want to spend the night or just make it a day trip. I am looking forward to getting up for an early Sunday morning run. Personally I am leaning towards the April 28th date. Hopefully it won't be too crowded, like it was last October.

I am thinking we can meet in the Hickory area around 10, use Asheville as a place to meet others and maybe have lunch and then head over to the Dragon. The picnic at Fontana Dam was OK but tables and such would have been a plus.

Let me know your thoughts and have a great week.
Hey Alan,

I certainly plan to attend the Dragon for sure. I had a great time during our last visit! Thanks so much for taking the time to arrange these outings. We certainly owe you a beer or two during the next GTG.

Your car is really looking nice! Super sharp!

Thanks Kevin, look forward to seeing you guys. I don't plan on the dyno either, I am excited to see it in person. I have only seen video clips of dyno runs.

OK, 4/28/12 and the Dragon it is. I will start working on an itinerary for the trip. I am thinking we will leave Hickory around 10, use Asheville as a place for lunch and meeting others, maybe stop by the dam (maybe not) and on to the Dragon. The link for the hotel is

http://www.microtelinn.com/hotels/no...T&modify=false The local number is 828-479-6772.

Be sure to ask for the motorcycle rate. I am really looking forward to doing this again, especially the possibility of maybe a late Saturday run and a Sunday morning run.

Clint, you are correct - we did have a volunteer. I don't mind trying a January 28th event in Greenville. Not exactly sure of the schedule at the moment. Maybe this would entice others from SC to join us.

I'm a volunteer now? It's almost like a full time job haha.

I'll work on a location though.

FYI: There's an auto show in Greenville this weekend. Anyone interested in attending and then having a quick bite to eat either before or after?

I'm down for the Dragon! I know I have a few friends that'll probably come along.
