Chapter Anniversary Celebration?

You and Larry held strong for quite a while. I was impressed, but it is true, at this point, there is no way to make everything, which in reality is a great thing.
For this year though, let's make sure we get a toast or something at the event on the 16th to commemorate the anniversary of our little group here. We'll work on making it an event of its own next year when we have more time to plan.

So much for a toast to the elder statesman of the group. It looks like Deb and I will miss out on Saturday's events, the car show and Smokey Bones. I think we will be attending a Father's Day GTG instead. I hate it we will miss it.

I'm in... I'll have my son with me.
The show starts at 8 but I'm thinking more like we could get there between 11 and noon unless some of you want to enter your Mustang in the show.
Then we could leave at 3 when the show ends and head to Smokey Bones.
Thoughts?

I should be there, assuming my car is done by then. They called on Friday and said once the paint dried on the bumper it wasn't a perfect match so they resprayed it. Then they weren't sure if the exhaust would straighten back out or if it needed a new muffler.... And they haven't mentioned anything about the big dent in the fuel tank, if I go to pick it up and that dent is still there, I'll be leaving it there again until they fix it. *Sigh* .. Hopefully I'll get it back soon, I'm tired of driving this rental (which ironically is the same type of car that hit me).

Ok, the Home Depot isn't that far off of I-40 so I was trying to think of a place to stage that wouldn't be too difficult to move a decent group out of. Wendover ave can be a bit chaotic with 6 lanes of traffic and idiots abound.
I think that our best bet would be to meet up at in the Target parking lot just down the street a bit. It's past the HD from I-40 but if we want to roll in en-mass that would be the easiest place to make it happen from.
Target
1212 Bridford Pkwy
Greensboro, NC 27407
Meet there at 10:30 unless anyone wants to get there earlier.
Then head over to Smokey Bones
3302 High Point Road
Greensboro, NC 27407
If we leave the show between 3:00 and 3:30 we should hit Smokey Bones at the perfect time to miss both the lunch rush and the dinner rush.
