So you had to call John to help install it? No wonder you have spelling issues Jeff. Jk. I don't know why there are complaints about the new 10-13 antennas, compared to the 05-09 its already tiny.

Glad it made it there alan, figured since your traveling more it might come in handy.

I'm glad this was started. I do believe this should be an annual event.

I'll be sure to put it to good use in the near future! They did send something odd in the box with it, you can see it better in this picture:

Haha, just kidding. That's my little man Taz. I think he liked his "gift" of the box just as much as I liked the saw, which is saying a lot. Two happy campers over here!

I hope your gift has arrived. I'll have to check the tracking info on it! I think you'll like it!

Well, technically he came to my house for the install. LOL. I agree that the stock antenna's on the newer bodied cars are worlds better than the jousting pole that the 05-09's come with but I do think that the Billet 4" shorty was an improvement. Leave it to Ford to come up with a special tool to remove the antenna base too.

I pretty sure the tool you made far exceeds whatever suggested tool Ford has. LOL But I does look great.

I am so glad you didn't get a picture of that invention. LOL. But it got the job done.

I made a special tool for removing the one from the kia, its called a water-logged comforter draped over it to keep the hail off. SNAP! Installation tool was superglue.
