Looks pretty cool. Is that the final product or you still have to wait for a few more coats?

Don't know about the colt brand, might have to check them out, but the beavertail looks like it would get in the way.
If by palm safety you mean the safety mechanism at the back of the grip that must be depressed, the Colt as well as any 1911 styled pistol will have that.

SR9 doesn't :-D
I've only seen the springfields with that, I'll have to look closer.

Correct, the service type pistols like the SR9 typically don't have that, S.A. may be the only one.

I'm working on the Subaru, it's developed a nasty miss over the past couple of days. No doubt due to the O2 sensor that I've been ignoring for a couple of months now. It's also getting a set of valve cover gaskets and losing the busted up cover on the underside. Not quite what I had planned for my quarterly bonus, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. In the meantime I'm being forced to drive the Mustang...

Also, working on starting an associates degree in electronics, I should get the final approval back on Monday. 'Bout time I got started on it, should have had it done years ago...

(Grok 36, but I want a 19 coz it's cheaper to feed)
