Sorry to hear about your wife and nephews, sometimes people bite off more than they can chew with having kids,and trying to live that kind of life. Its a sad truth, but an all too common one. On another note, Im sure you can provide them with a good atmosphere to be raised right. I hope your wife's consultation turns out alright and she's cancer free.

Wow. So after sharing a wonderful Thanksgiving with my Jen, my mom, her parents and our boys I wake up to a text from Jen's dad. Her neices husband had a heart attack early this morning and passed away in their home. He was only 30-something. I know he had some health issues but I think they were all spinal though. Jens still asleep. I haven't told her.

We have no choice but to go to her parents and pack today because they have to be out of their house by the 1st.

Somehow her niece kept their 2 children away from him and her grandmother from her dad's side came and picked them up. They still don't know what's happened to their dad.

I didn't know him that well. He worked odd shifts and barely made it to many family gatherings but this is shocking and sad news to put it mildly.

 

Wow, that's so young Jeff. I can only imagine what it will be like for Jen's niece.

Thanks guy. It was a rough day. Trying to stay focused on moving and packing. He was only 27. He never said a word to his wife just rolled over out of the bed... how crazy. She's the strongest female in their family so I'm sure she will come out ok but 8ts going to be rough for her and those kids.
