Well the surgery went extremely well. Everything is good. He's a little sore but he's sleeping now. Really hates the eye patch. I thought he would like it, boy was I wrong.

Thanks again guys.

Glad he is OK Dan, tell him he is a pirate. Pirates are cool.

LOL that's what I've been doing, he just woke up about 5 mins ago. I bought him a hat and sword to go with it, but he's not thrilled.

Glad to hear all went well. I had to wear a patch for about 6 months afterwards.. so he'll get used to it.. have they said how long he'll have to wear the patch?

The Dr said as long as he will keep it on. Probably will come off today. It's a taped on one for recovery, nothing fancy. He's pretty much left it alone since he woke up yesterday. He rubs it and such but it's put up with a lot of him tugging at it. He's a trooper and feeling 100x better today. Vomited quite a bit yesterday afternoon and evening, I guess from the anesthesia.

OK Guys, it has been a rough year for me but here goes..
My Dad has been having some issues for a few months, nothing major except when he gets his heart rate up he had some minor pains. He dismissed this as normal aging and never told anyone.
Fast forward to a week ago and one of his cats gets out and he chases after it. Long story short, he almost passed out and started having chest pains.
He went to the Doc a few days ago and they recommended a stress test.
He goes Monday for a heart Catheter and a possible stent.
The Cardiologist says that he suspects that he has a partial blockage.
Of course if once they get in they find more problems it could mean open heart surgery but we are praying that it doesn't have to get that far.
