It sometimes gets pretty rough out there and I'm grateful for all of you that make up this crazy bunch.

Update on mom, she has had a heart cath, a cardiac MRI - both to determine the extent of the blockage and treatment. They decided on stents and put three in this afternoon. The three are connected spanning 1.5 inches. I am with her tonight, she has about another hour of being on her back with no movement. Hopefully then she can get some rest.

She will be on blood thinners for a year and will be on a low sodium diet for life. She wound up here due to excess fluid around her heart and lungs (congestive heart failure). They are working to get that squared away and hopefully will get her home Friday.

I thank all of you for your positive thoughts, prayers, texts, etc. It truly means a lot to know you have people pulling for you.

We are still praying for you guys.

Update on my mom:
She left the hospital and is at home as of today. She's really sore and is having trouble keeping solid food down. Glad she's home though.

That's great news for both of you. Alan hopefully she'll be home soon and back at life. They make some low sodium salt, which last time I checked my periodic table was just chloride which is kinda poisonous.....maybe there's more to it.

I'm glad they have your Mom stabilized Alan. Hopefully she can return to a somewhat normal routine in short time.
