i am having a radiator cover painted for my car right now and while i was at the painters i asked them about painting the center of my wheels black rather than gun metal. He suggested that I might try to put some body color on them along with the black, but i am not sure how that will look. i am hoping that one of you guys might be able to chop that up so i can get an idea what it will look like. Pics below:



This is a close up of the wheel. the painted suggested a gloss black for the wheel, leaving the polished lip, and then on the inset part of the wheels grabber blue. if you look at the pic, the wheels have a raised "V" shape on each spoke and the part of the "V" that is reassessed on the sides that goes around the lugs is what he suggested as grabber blue. It sounds too much to me, I'm thinking all gloss black. I am also thinking about having the stripes painted in gloss black rather than the vinyl that bothers me so much with all the little scratches, bubbles and tears.



I am also considering a bit og GB inside the car, on the radio surround and the center consoel section, what do you guys think that woudl look like? Had a few folks suggest that to me, maybe someone can chop it up

 

here are the closeup shots of some color combos... imo, the blue in the recessed part makes the wheel look too 'busy'... i personally think the all gloss is the best. also, i'm not sure if i'd add anything to the inside; to me, there is just enough color, but i'll chop the consoles too for ya to see how it'd look. i can also throw the wheel chops on the other pic of your car if you'd like

Not digging the gb on wheels at all. I'm going black w polished I think. U may be right about the gb on center console. I'd like to see a chop is u have time.
