RE: Animated Sig
I'll try to post it later today. I wrote a short version but the server is having some issues uploading my images. In the mean time pm me with your email and I'll send you the instructions pdf and the project source file.

if want your background to look transparent you have 2 options.
1. (my favourite) match your background to the forums background, the RGB is 241,241,241 (light grey) then you can save in .jpg, that's why it's my favourite, you don't lose any quality in .jpg.
2. (i only use this for animations) work with a transparent background layer in PS, then save it as a .gif instaed of .jpg, don't forget to check the transparency box when you save. gif loses a bit of quality though, but it's pretty much the only way to animate in ImageReady, it won't work with .jpg.

I lose a lot of quality when i save things as .jpg....so i save everything as .png now....looks 10x better.

The only bad thing about PNG is that this board doesn't support the uploading of PNG files.[:@] Just GIF, txt, and JPG. But if you're crafty like Jon and others, you can put them on another server and link them back in.
BTW Flash also has PNG output.
