thoughts on turn signals?

So, here's a pic.

I see a major problem with those. At night, nobody will be able to tell if you're signaling, because the light from the headlight will flare over the turn signal. Those lights are just unsafe in my opinion because of that.

And for 4reboy, here is a picture of where my grille ornament has been for the 30+ years we've had the car. I assume Carlos' is in the same spot.

I had the same thoughts about the turn signal in the head light. I was wondering how you would see them too. Nice concept though.
