Honestly I would not use any type of rubberized or similar undercoating on it. It will hold in moisture and cause more rust. Just paint it with something like chassis paint from Eastwood or a Mustang parts supplier.

use a rust converter on it then use spray on under coat (advance and autozone have some for about 4.60$ a can).. and if it has the original paint, i believe it has lead in it, so be careful when sanding it down.....

thanks I"ll start looking around.
I was wondering about stroker kits, if i build my 351W to a 408 (for shop class) would you have to swap out the cam and rest of vavltrain because of the larger displacement? How do you go about all that anyway?

usually you would upgrade the cam to tie the combo together better. but i don't believe its a MUST.....................?.. and one thing you should really do right now...completly wash the car down and pull off some covers and trim pieces, and put it on a lift to see where your standing on repairing the car is....
