No matter WHAT you do with your car, somebody, somewhere, is going to mock your decision.... Some mods just draw more mockage than others...

My take? small tasteful stickers, 2" tall or less, no problem... 12" tall gaudy cobra,,, not so much...

The Cobra Kits used to come with a Cobra emblem, typically these were attached to the fender near the engine badge or running horse.

the cobras are the Ford Cobras that fit the 2007-2010 GT500's. they are 4" tall. they look extremely cool. My car is deep black with 1 coat of pearl blue so the cobras stand out. just what i wanted. no where on the car does it say cobra. just emblems. i also have a small 2" chrome emblem on rear of car that says- Powered By Venom.

I'm generally not a fan of badging a vehicle as something its not. I don't mind subtle stuff like dodgestang has, bit I most likely wouldn't do that either. My friend has a first generation Lightning clone. This is why it doesn't have the decals on it. Its funny. People think its the real deal all the time. I do kinda like the cobra medallion on the 289 HiPo.

I'm not a fan either. I'm all for the restomods but would never slap snake emblems on a car that wasn't a real cobra however each to their own. I see it all the time around here.

It is your car so do what you want but for my taste I would rather see a car with nice badging that is not correct than the over the top Le Mans stripes. Since the Eleanore movie the Le mans stripes are everywhere. I guess you could say they are over the top for my taste. I have a little badging on my 66 Fastback.
