Electric choke swap over

Default Electric choke swap over

Hi all,
I am swapping out my 2bbl carb. for another 2bbl carb. The replacement carb. has electric choke. Where/ What do I need to do/ wire to get the carb. to work properly. 289 2bbl air

Don't you just need 12 volts when the key is on and the engine is running?

Back of alt. STA (stator) post is easiest and what Ford used in later years with electric choke. It's only hot when the alt. is spinning (car running).

Stator is what I used with my choke also.
