Just got rid of the Honda(yuk...hated it) and got a Merc Mountaineer AWD. Wanted a new GT but is was payments or parts for the '67.

 

'79 F-150 Indy 500 support truck ... or my '99 Interceptor Crown Vic.

 

97 Chevy Cavalier is my commuter Turd. 33mpg at 80mph down I-10, for a round trip of 175 miles daily. Just turned over 204,000 miles yesterday. Almost got a Ford Escort back in 97 but they were butt ugly.

Nothing but blue ovals in my garage/driveway. My DD is a 2002 Mustang GT, The wife's is an E-150 Chateau Van (we have 5 kids).
I have owned Honda (first car), Subaru(2nd car), Dodge, Chevy, GMC and had poor experiences with all of them. I have owned a 1987 for ranger, a 1996 ranger, a 1999 escort, a 1996 F-150, and th two DDs i mentioned earlier and never had a problem.

 

'98 Ford F-150 full-size extended cab almost always had a truck as a daily at least for the last 15-18 years anyway. Before that I had a S-10 Tahoe Blazer that I put about 250K miles on before I traded it for a truck.

 

2004 Chevy Cavalier. It gets decent gas mileage and I work at the Duramax diesel plant so it would seem odd driving a competitors product.
