Yep....This photo shows no drip rail. I just think if I were repairing a classic, I would want to repair the drip rail. There is a reason for it being there in the first place.

They sure did a nice job on that car. I'm not sure I like the gas cap flap though. I do like the flares.

hmm....well it would be cool to just get rid of them but i dont have the tools to cut that....

so i guess the putty stuff......although there is probably already old putty stuff on there......would it be wise ti try and scrap out the old stuff or just sand it down a bit and put the por 15 putty stuff over it to make it even and smooth.

If you have cancer on your rails already then shave them off, mustangs look very nice IMO with no drip rail. Im having them shaved off next week when the body work guy does the rest of the car.

yeah id like to now that i think about it although my who point was to not have to pay for someone to do body work like that because...

A.) i need to conserve my money becuase i dont make much being 17 and being in school most of the time.

B.) because i want to learn how to do the stuff too....

theres no way i could take a cutting wheel and put it in an electric drill.....?

Dude! I have found that if you invest in the tools first the parts are easier. If your car is running now, leave it be, invest in the shop that will keep it running. My ex is pissed that I have all my tools in her garage, but I had put in the decree, I pay child support, she provides a home for my tools

This isn't too much but it would get the job done. Although I remember my one pack of ramen a day period, so if it comes down down food or tools, choose food. (although you can save a bunch on food if you kick the wife to the curb[:-] )

yeah, i honestly am just buying things as i get the money, id have to save a bit to afford that....

i just ordered a lot of stuff over the past week or two and rims a week or so before that....so lets see...plus the actual car...so im sorta whiped out on money...

Rims and Tires - $1000

Steering Wheel / Adapter - $130

Indicator Cam Repair Kit - $10

Door Hinge Rebuild Kits - $15

Turn Signal Lever - $10

Battery Tray + Hold Down Kit - $25

Window Crank ***** - $8

Heater Plenum - $15

Defrost Duct Hose - $15

so about $1,230 bucks not including tax or shipping for inital "gotta have" parts...just to get the major things up and running correctly like the doors not sagging and the heater/defrost hooked up right.....turn signal actually cancelling.....battery not balancing on a half rusted island of metal......rims with all the same sized tires and ones that have tread left.....steering wheel that isnt cracked....u know what i mean???

so right now...im on a 17 yr olds budget.
