I used the RPM for a few years, it was a good cam, but remember, if your bolting on the heads, they have a 60cc chamber, so your gonna lose compression.I actually lost a bit of HP when i put them on. I was making 305 RWHP with stock heads,Comp 270 cam. I put on the RPM heads and cam and went down to about 230 HP, same manifold and carb.
What were your heads like?? im doing a 302 this winter and i wanna know some good affordable combos. Please IM me and give me some info as i am interested about your setup.

The RPM cam does not have all the specs I'm looking for.. The Comp Cam 262 will give me the best of both worlds, even the guy at Edelbrock told me it was a better choice over the RPM cam.

ORIGINAL: Iskwezm

why not just get the RPM cam???Also i would get at least a 600 CFM carb.
