need help/advice
If we are able to finish the car, then yes I am firm on the no selling point.
We are not really concerned with originality.
I'm about 99% sure it's an H code. However, there are enough differences between a convertible and coupe that I kinda doubt it would be financially feesable to pay somone to do all the work. However, if it comes down to it, we may just get a coupe body and build a coupe instead... just use the convertible as a parts car. As nice as it would be to have a convertible, it's starting to make less and less sence from a money stand point.
I should note, though, that this car (really any car) is not beyond saving. It's just a matter of how much work needs to be put into it. We are still trying to determine how much work we can do/have done by people we know, and how much we have to spend on body shops having things fabricated and such.
Again, does anyone know of good places to find a straight body? Any good Mustang junk yards? Maybe you know someone selling one?
Thanks again for the responses!

Does anyone know what structural components are the same between a convertible and a coupe? i.e. are the pinch weld areas the same size, are the subframe components the same, etc.
If I can use structural parts from a coup, I can pretty easily find a donor car to get the convertible up and running.
