Default vacuum leak?

Ok, my carb all of a sudden started overflowing with gas on one side. So after rebuilding it, I am hearing a loud hissing sound and it certainly isn't running strong. I have sprayed carb cleaner all around the carb but I can't find any vacuum leak. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe check the base gasket where it mounts to the manifold.

if it was puking gas, the float is either stuck or not adjusted right, if you have a vac leak, spray some carb cleaner while it running at the base gasket, if the idle raises or smoothens out, you found the leak. also check for missing vac caps.

Well, I replaced the base gasket with a new one and I have sprayed carb cleaner all around the carb with no noticable change in rpm... I don't see any missing vac caps. This is really bugging me because I NEED TO DRIVE MY STANG!!!!
