flywheel imbalance
I work in a engine shop balancing cranks, all the parts are the same untell the crank hits the balncer, we build all of our ford motors with 28 oz embalance even for newer cars. it is less drag on the engine. the harmonic balance and the flywheel you want to use starts there.
Do your self a favor, get your crank, balancer and flywheel/ flex plate zero balanced, you will not believe how much of a difference it makes. It costs about 150-300 bucks, your balanced, and you took at least 3.5 pounds of rotating mass out.
Seriously, to answer your question, get the casting number off your crank, cross refrence it and find out what years it fits.
No one here can tell you because they do not know what crank you have. If it's one from and older year, 28oz, if it's from the newer 5.0's 50oz
you can't make it any more simple than that. If your local parts store is like mine, you can give them the number and they will cross reff it for you.
I could join the argument like everyone else here but that would not help you any at all.
If you want to send me the casting number I will look it up for you and give you a deffinate answer but untill you know which crank you have, listening to anyone here would be a 50/50 change of being right or beating your mains out.
I'm not trying to step on anyones toes but I've been building engines for 15 years and the only way to know, is to check and double check.
Would you turn the key before you plastigauged everything? Knowing the kid that handed you your bearings doesn't even have a clue what they are or what .010" is. Or with out priming the oil system?
