I like that idea. I think it looks sharp. Good choice. I might just copy you...

EDIT: When I get around to it in like a year...lol

This is good information, Thanks everyone.

I am planning to pull my engine in the fall and want to repaint the engine bay at that time. I was thinking about useeing Eastwood's Underhood Black. But I bet the Krylon would be a lot cheaper.

Read the whole thread. I have already posted the how-to without removing your engine. Dang kids! I guess I need to pay more taxes to get our education system back up to par. http://links.vintage-mustang.com/FAQ...detailing.html

IMO it`s not that much more work to pull the engine, than to mask or remove every little bit and piece you don`t want to paint. Besides, if it`s never been painted since it left the factory, you`d want to get to every part of the bay.

Pulling an engine is not that easy. It takes a ton of work plus a big down time for a daily driver. You also have to have some expertise in how to unhook and hook everything back up. It's easy to say pull the engine, but in reality it's not easy to do it. You also have to have the space available for an extended period of time. That means mama ain't gonna have her parking spot in the garage for awhile.
