Paint the bay
Some guys use semi-flat, and some use semi-gloss. I used semi-flat and it looks original to me. That is for the bay. Now the corporate ford blue on the block is a different animal.

I did semi-gloss black. Turned out really good for being spray paint. Would have been even better if I would have taken the old paint all the way down to metal, i just sanded the paint to rough it up. I'll be posting a thread soon of painting my engine bay and engine block that I did this winter. The engines almost ready to be put back in!
Heres a few pictures. The rest can be found on my webpage--- http://www.cardomain.com/ride/393056/3

Looks like a clean bay. Are you sure you want the block on that engine to be black? I thought you had a 66. It looks good, and I have no criticism, but 66 blocks are painted corporate blue. Just wondering.
I didn't really like the look of the ford blue and i'm not worried about being stock. Everyone has the blue block, and my theme is to go all black with chrome accents.
