Default Black spots on the floor

Every time after i started my mustang i notice that there is a big black spot on the ground behind the exhaust pipe.
how can i prevent this from happening ? Is this a carb issue ? When i hold my hand under the exhaust it feels moist.

Uhh, I think it's just water condensation that sits in the exhaust pipe getting shot out

Is it black like soot or black in color? Does the liquid smell like fuel? If not it is probably water.

It could be a few things. If your motor has a lot of miles, it could be oil blowing by the rings. If not, your carb could be too rich. Some could be condensation. Throw out some more info perhaps we could help a little better.

It sounds like it is water condensation. Drive your Mustang more than a few miles at a time to get rid of that crap. Otherwise, you will wind up with a rusty muffler and exhaust system sooner than expected. I plan to take mine on a 700 mile round trip this next week, and I chose the 65 instead of the 03 Mach just so I could blow out all the crap and get rid of all the built up condensation and soot. These cars are meant to be driven, and if you only drive it a few blocks at a time, you are hurting it more than helping it.

Convert to propane? Carbon and water are natural byproducts of the internal combustion engine.

That is excessive carbon build up. I get that alot. Well, and water condensation like most have said. YOu might be running rich.
