folks i made a terrible mistake and need some help. i was attempting to overhaul my c4 tranny from my 66 mustang, and well when i dissasembled the valve body i dont know if there were any check ***** or not. i didn't see any fall out but i;m not sure. well i bought me a trans rebuild video for a c4 but the picture of the vave body is somewhat different than mine. the man shows where the check valves and plugs go but they are not the same as my valve body. everything else he covers is.so i dont know what to do the kit that i bought has some rubber plugs and i believe a baa but where do they go?. can anyone tell where i can get a diagram or picture showing placement of these. i sure would appreciate anybodys help. thanks, wendell.

Lol. Sorry I can't help, I have had that problem before. Once. Now I know not to try a Auto tranny. I got some help from someone that knew and he just fixed it. I watched, but he did not have time to show me. I do know that you have to do it on a spotless bench with tons of light. I learned that much. Try to get someone local that knows these puppies. I know it is not supposed to be all that hard if you have someone to teach you a bit.

c4 are actually a simple tranny to work on and dont reguire any special tools to work on them!yeah there are some ***** if u cant find ur i suggest getting a complete valve body from another tranny or ordering one from summit/jegs etc.
