a junkyard find would bbe a lincoln mark8 fan i believe its the most efficent fan available! and they are cheap too

Then, I think you will need the flexlite #475. Call them before you leap. BTW, the 66 Mustang did not have a stock shroud from the factory. I put on an aftermarket one on my 65, and it is not the gross plastic thing that covers half the engine bay as on newer models.
My 66 came with a stock shroud. Its a metal one, that is definietly stock. It doesnt seal too well around the radiator, however it is there. Maybe A/C fitted cars had them?
I don't know of any 65 or 66 Mustangs that had a shroud from the factory. My 65 is original factory air conditioned, and I had to put on an aftermarket shroud. Yes, it is metal and doesn't seal real well aroung the rad, but is effective.

Thanks for the link I was about to buy a new one but now i'll be saving money at the junk yard.
