lol ya the running of the engine is not an option
i wouldnt pop out a freeze plug. try taking off your belt and spin the water pump by hand if you dont want to run the engine.

I wouldnt knock out a freeze plug. Just drain it though the block drain holes as stated above. They will be VERY tight, they are pipe threaded. Just get a cheater pipe or something.

Hit it with some PB blaster, let it soak for 15 min or so and try it.The longer you wait the better.

Edit:Im talking about the pipe plug

Why don't you just siphon it out? I've changed intakes before and never drained the block from a plug, and definitely not by punching a freeze plug.

ya i went with the drain plug, and ya deffinatly was tight just hit it with some move it let it set and bam off, also didn't realize they used silicone on the intake as well as the valve covers as a gasket( that was fun). Thank you for all your guys info it was it would have been me unbolting 30 different bolts to figure it out. Now if u guys can help me with my other obsticle my father he thinks im wasting to much money on the car, this coming from a guy who had a hemi dart when he was my age, and since im 18 i can't he has the power to take my car away[:@]
