engine oil coolers

Default engine oil coolers

hey has any one ever used an engine oil cooler on a 289? Im thinking about installing one but I cant find any specs on heat transfers or precentage of cooling power etc.

If any one has ever used one please let me know what you thought

I used one on my F-150 and it definitely helped because I used the truck for towing. I don't have one on my 65 because my engine runs cool, and I don't tow anything with it. Check out this to see if they can give you more difinitive information.
