Aight, I have been wondering for awhile. How come there are two sets of keys for the older mustangs???? Like, for example, Glen has the pony key, along with me. BUT there is also a different set of keys. I mean, Was the pony keys an option or something? i dont get it.

Here is a pic of the original keys that came with my 65 from the factory. They have the pony on them. I got the new set from Texas Mustang as a blank, and had them cut at the local hardware store. I guess there are other key blanks that work, but factory Mustang keys should have the pony on them.

no, have you seen the other keys in the mustang books? they have regular 66 mustang keys, and they have the keys with a pony. I asked somebody that has a 66 vert about his keys, they were original and weren't the pony keys. Look in the books, they dont lie.
