Default It still runs!!!!!

Got the gas tank installed, new fuel filter, sending unit and rubber pipes. Added a brand spanking new battery. And it runs! Thought it dies if there isn't slight pressure on the pedal, and to start it you have to hold the pedal down. Tomorrow were gonna get it timed and tuned (hopefully) and then I can drive it to the body shop to get the frame fixed! woohoo!!

This is a relief I'm so excited. I might just skip the paint job and go straight to getting it assembled so I can drive it around.

That'll work. I know we have a "butt ugly" law here in Texas, so that if you drive it without paint, you will get a ticket for a butt ugly car. Nah, just kidding. Get her painted whenever you can afford it, but drive her in the meantime.

Ahhh

Floats are probably stuck see if its flooding. Can you see fuel dripping into the carb after the engine dies?
