This sounds familiar.........

Anyhow Dont take it out. That’s its whole point, its job it to keep the engine at say 180F in any situation winter or summer.

Taking it out would be akin to doing something dumb like coating all your skin with super glue in the winter time because you dont need your sweat glands anymore..... or something like that.

I guess what im saying is to not mess with it.

yeah i think hes right, what would be the point of that?????

i mean what would it accomplish? makes about as much sense as "oh, its winter, i think im going to TAKE OUT my air conditioning completely until next summer."

Not too mention draining coolant again and again summer to winter only to put it in and take it out.

It won't hurt to take out the thermostat to run the engine to see if the thermostat is causing overheating, but with a good working thermostat, you don't need to do that. The job of the thermostat is 2-fold basically. 1. to get the engine up to operating temperature quickly, and 2. to get the block water hot quicker to run the heater in the winter.
