Found more pleasant surprises inside my engine, thought the motor was a junker when I bought the car, first found new double valve springs, new pushrods, new lifters in the top side, pulled the timing cover and found four gear timing setup, now have the pan off and got a chance to look up into the cylinders, found almost new aluminum pistons and nice slick walls still showing a good crosshatch honing, new bearings and rod bolts guess that the engine may be a;lmost all new instead of a junker. Replaced the bad push rod and found the ends in the bottom of the pan, so now ready to put it all back together again.p.s. also found nice shinny chrome oil pan too.
