just remember many cars got vynyl roofs because the roof wasa less than perfect stamping.

Thats not true, vinyl roofs were an option not an option if you're roof was not good.

that sounds like an old wives tale or something........



and yeah........i think hes going to want to repaint the entire car.

Yeah, sounds like an old wive's tale. Vinyl rooves were very popular back then, and that option was integrated into the Mustang line to keep up with the competiion. Not a real smart move for lasting tradition of a Classic Mustang, but neverheless a good marketing tool at the time. These old cars were never intended to last this long.

oh those arent bad. thats sort of what i pictured.....i mean even if u wanted to do it the inexpensive way and fill them por 15 epoxy putty.... ( NOT BONDO!!! ) it would be fine probably......not like it will be structually compromise or something.

Laugh if you want, but that brown bag has just enough grit to make it smooth as a baby's butt. Then it's time for color.
hahaha thats awesome. the process looks far easier than i had pictured it in my mind.
