I was just doing it to get rid of rustyness, but I used 50 grit paper and a sander mouse. Ill get it chromed later
Thats sorta the idea. The 65 has a texture to it, so sandpaper will undoubtably be out of the question. You should post a pic when its chromed. It was painted before, right?

Yes it still had the original paint but had some light surface rust on 2 areas where it had been scrathed off.

Ta-Da!!!

Not only found it at the first place I looked, but also in an easy to apply spray can. The guy at the auto parts store told me, "Be sure to use it in a well ventalated area" Then he started waving his arms all around above his head and put a silly, eyes crossed expression on his face and says "Or else you will think your Ozzy Ozborn man!" What a ham. We'll give it a try tonight.

It doesnt look bad at all....... However if you were going to leave it like that I would do the Instument bezel aswell....So it would match

I guess you're right. Only problem is they are plastic.
