Default Plug Wires?

Just put a new MSD ready to run in my 1970 302. Have to change the wires since it has male ends on distrib. Bought a set of universal Accel 8mm and having the a tough time just getting boot on. Got one on after about a 1/2 hour of struggling - used grease, butter, wd 40, no help. Would be interested in some tips or if a recommendation on good set of wires ready to go that will fit my setup. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

+1 MSD super conductors. They are 8.5 mm. http://www.msdignition.com/wire_1.htm

I have MSD 6AL box, distributor, and Blaster 2 coil and I installed Ford Motorsport 9mm wires on mine. They are ready to fit out of the box and have ends already on them. No complaints yet, good luck.

Got them through summit racing catalog, I think they were only about $60 bucks or something.

I ordered the ford racing - $45 delivered from Summit. Seems like a good deal for 9mm. Only concern is that the plug ends are 90s - where I currently have 180s - if they work out beats the hell out trying to hook up universals. thanks for the tips.
