Default unique guage locations???

I want to install some aftermarket guages, since mine are just fried..... i think. I cant install them under the dash because my stereo is there. Where are some other places i can install? What about putting some in my original cluster? Is it doable?

Absoulutely. NPD (and others I'm sure) sell a seperate backing plate that allows you to run all new gauges. I think it is about $40.00. The catch is you have to run *all* new gauges including the speedometer.
If you aren't opposed to fabrication, you could do a custom setup. Pick up a cheap gauge cluster from ebay, and use it to practice on.

Good luck! and don't forget to post pictures!
