Early 68's has them too. The rear marker lights were a different style though.

ORIGINAL: 6mustang6

not all cars have side marker lights...........
They DO if they are made after 1968...guarantee it![sm=trust_me.gif]

QUOTE It may not have a seperate marker light on the side, but the lights on most newer cars wrap around enough to be seen from the side. It was made a federal law around 1968 that all cars have side markers.

[sm=exactly.gif]EXACTLY..They are there although maybe not separate. Do what you want, but don't try to justify the law with ignorance. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse or an out. And by the way...ignorance is a term when "you do not know"...it is not calling you "stupid" or anything else. Typical gramatical error. As is "irregardless"...this is not a word. It is always "regardless".

Yep.....here is the law regarding side markers.

"If present" is the opperative word. If I didn't want them on a 68 Mustang, I would take them off. I doubt very seriously if any of today's cops are old enough to even know that a 68 Mustang had side markers.
