You may also want to check out speedway motors http://www.speedwaymotors.com thier prices aren't too bad. Look under the streetrod section the basic coil over is about 390 and the have the different weight loads and lengths, there may be some in the racing section also.

I just called them. unfortunately they don't show a direct bolt up for the '66 mustang.

Sorry to say but there is no coil over kit you can buy for 800 bucks. You can't even redo the entire front stock suspension for that price. The cheapest coil over kit...and the best in my opinion is the TCP stuff. The cheapest way your going to be able to do it is to built it yourself. That is the only option you have and that will be over 800 bucks. Just for a nice set of coil over shocks are close to that price alone.
