How in the hell do you remove these starter bolts?????? The bottom was basically stripped when i started trying to remove it, and the top one is ok, but i can only get an open end wrench on it, and it's starting to strip. They are TIGHT AS HELL. What do i do???? CAn i just cut these stupid things off?

 

Yeah cutting them should work.

I got the top one out on mine by using a bout a 1' 2" extension that came to just about the alternator and then I could get a ratchet on it. If it’s striped out then cut it.

go to autozone and ask for Irwin reverse nuts for bolts
