So I bought one of those kits to fix my horn ring assembly... I get it all on the horn ring and then try to put it on my steering wheel and HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!! ![:@] The horn won't stop honking when it's on. What do I have to adjust because it's driving me freaking nuts.. not to mention all the sparks that are shooting out when I'm installing it.. hehe.

 

Try unhooking the battery while you are installing the horn ring. Maybe withouth the honk you will have more patience to find out if there are any adjustments

 

I had to bend the metal ears on my contact plate away from the wheel VERY slightly.
