Glad you got that figured out. Now, if you need your car during the week to go to work, you best wait for Friday after work this next week to start working on it. It will take you most of the weekend to replace all of what you bought, and to bleed the brakes. Use Dot 3 brake fluid. I like Autozone too. They put out a great catalog in paper and online. They carry quality products, and their employees seem to know what they are doing. I bought a K&N air filter for my 03 Mach last summer, and it went in as slick as snot on a door ****.

Absolutely. Get everything whistle clean before you put the new parts on. I even brushed on some rust encapsulator on the surrounding areas such as the springs and such after I got the crud off. Once you get her all back together, then you can use some paint to make it look like a pro job. Be sure you take some pics before you tear it down, so that you can refer back to them when you start putting the parts back on. And/or only do one side at a time. That way you can refer to the other side if you run into something that doesn't seem right, like the placement of a spring. If you do run into a stump, get back with us. My old camera is old, but still picture worthy.

Easy answer. Every metal part that has rust on it.

Absolutely. Put rust encapsulator, not rust preventer, on all metal parts that have rust on them prior to painting them. You need to kill the rust before painting because the rust will just eat through the paint in a few months, then you will have to scrape and wire wheel it all over again. Do it right the first time. If you have shiny bare metal, a good self etching primer and several coats of paint will seal it for years to come. I still have some areas under mine that need this to be done. That is a project I plan to take care of this summer.

Yeah, he's 31 and a 6'4" 230 lb. hunk of a man. We don't arm wrestle anymore.
i wonder why. LOL! oh, don't let the ladies in OT get a hold of that info, they'll dog you for pics till you break!

you really don't need a picture anyway. when i did my one and only set of drums to date, i just jacked up the rear, set it on stands, pulled both drums and worked one side at a time. i think i had to reffer to the opposite side once.
