Default cold spark plugs?

I am currently running an Autolight 45 in my 289-306. My plugs are reading too hot. Does Champion make a colder 18mm plug?

You don't want to be running Champions in a Ford. Those are for GM. Try the Autolite B-42's which are 3 heat ranges colder than the 45's.

Yeah, Champions aren't a very good plug. I've had some bad experiences with them.
