overheating
Hey i have a 68 coupe stang, 302. Its got headers n other than that its stock. It overheated last week the temperature needle got abot 3/4 the way to hot. So we took it into the shop and we talked to the previous owner. We concluded that it was because we ran the air while driving on surface city streets. Then i just got home from getting some new speakers, sub, amp radio. installed and the bar was at 3/4 agin so we fiqured mabe thats just its normal heat. Then when i pulled into the driveway the needle was on hot and couldn't go any further. We have already cheked the radiator last time and that wasn't it i will be taking it back into the shop later this week. Any sugestions or idea are welcome.
