Hello All,

I've just began working on a 1967 coupe with a 289. The poor thing has been setting up for about 5 years. I've changed the fluids and turned the motor over. I was told I needed a new Ignition switch so I got one. The problem is the one that was in there has been pulled out and there are only a few wires even connected to the part that connects to the back of the Ignition switch. Looking at it I am going to have to do some MAJOR Re-wiring. But Right now I just want to get it cranked. Anyone have any advice on how many wires I need to just get the thing to turn over? If so Please let me know ASAP. I really wanna get this thing to turn over tonight. It is 7 pm here now. The Parts store is 30 mins away and it closes at 9. Any help as to which wires I need and were they connect too would be Greatly appreciated. thanks.

There is a wiring schematic in the FAQ section. It will have all of the color codes and let you know where everything goes. I would not get in a hurry. Do it right one time and it is done for ever!!
