ok ifor those of u who have helped me in the past and know whats up thanks .....youll never guess whats happening now ok first of all im learning that a good ground is the answer to wveryting on an older car ..well i had this problem of the startor not disengageing now thats fixed and BUt my new dilema is the car starts great runs awsome .....but wont shut off by the key what the hell did i do ,it used to be fine? SO MY PROBLEM IS MY CAR WONT SHUT OFF WHEN U TURN THE KEY OFF

 

you might need a new starter switch bc i had a similar problem.

 

yep, might be a bad switch now, or a short somewhere.
