Whats a noob?
A newbie on here has nothing at all to do with any experience you may or may not have with working on Mustangs. It simply means your post count is low. However, when we use the term noob, we usually mean someone who has little experience in working on Mustangs. Neither term is derogatory, so don't take it that way. Now, you girls quit your silly complaining and quit taking everything so personal.

an rally, i am sorry i called you a noob. if i remember the context correctly it was you getting bent out of shape over the word "rice". i said noob because you were so pissed over the word rice in an totally different context than what is was used and you were the only one complaining about it in that fashion, while the rest of the forum consisted of people giving their oppinions and definations of what "rice" (when describing a car) is/was. the reason i said the freedom of speech/choice thing was you were the only one getting upset over it. i totally understood what you were saying and yes, it is a very valid point. i was making a counter point stating that in the context it was being used it wasn't a derogitory term and with that i gave a few examples.
i am in no way bent out of shape over any of this and could care less what you think of me. what i was saying was, you were getting bent outta shape over this like it was equivilant(sp) to losing a job. my point is, there are things in the real world for you to get pissed off about, and you were choosing to get upset over a word on a forum. i respect everyones opinions here and really don't mean to make "enemies" during my time here. for all i know, i can have one last problem when my car is just about ready to hit the road and you can be the only one with the answer.
yes i should take my own advice of freedom of speech, freedom of choice. and as far as my posts go, whatever. if i offend you due to my posts not always pretaining to the problem at hand, i am sorry. that's how i am. i am a clown and enjoy making people laugh.
I am a noob, and not ashamed of it, although I have been working on cars and engines for over 40 years, stil a noob in here and learn something new everyday . Call me a noob all you want to, I enjoy the posts of those who come here wheather they know nothing or are like Glen and very knowledgeable. Just keep it comming, its all good
For the record, Clu7ch,
I wasn't pissed or bent. I was just voicing a caution regarding the word being used in a certain context. If I am a "noob" because I think that exercising restraint and good judgement over word choices - trying to be inclusive of all peoples who might have a budding passion for Mustangs, then so be it. I must be a noob.
But what does that say about those who throw caution to the wind?
If my exercise in caution causes some folks to get bent...then so be it. That is just how I am.
