Default torque box

I am restoring my first mustang. I am usually a GM guy, but have developed a love for the mustang. Any way, Iam replacing the floor pans and while cutting out the old noticed that ther was only a torque box on the drivers side. Is this correct are should ther be one on the passenger side as well? It is a 1967 coupe with a 200 6cyl., 3 speed. Ihave all the chasise and body assembly books along with a restoration guide, but can not come up with an answer to this question. Thank you for any info and/or advice.
