so that's what mine's supposed to look like! [&o]

looks clean, well looks like it needs to be washed, but looks like the body's clean. did you check the under carrage yet? what condition is that in?

yeah, the rust tends to hide under the car. LOL! it really looks to be in good shape. check for rust on the undercarrage and try and talk him dow a few bucks if you can. IMO, 5 grand for a clean bodies 66 200ci is not too bad. others will tell you it is cause you're gonna want more power and you'll than need to replace the entire suspension and this and that. they do have a good point, but personally, if i'm doing a car, i don't care if it has a V8 suspension in it already, i'm gonna freshen it up anyway and replace it.

5k is not too bad, not great but ok. If you're planning on a V8 swap, move on to a V8 stange. You would be in for allot more work just to get the suspension ready for the V8.. If it were me, I would look around some more. Save you're money so you can spend about $6 - $8k.. You would get a car that's had some of this work done and maybe a paint job that much better than this one.

i agree. if you want a V8 move on up to a V8 car.
