1 bbl to 2 bbl adaptor
Went through the whole faze in the 70s. Cut off the intake manifold, *tried* to port the head. Built my own manifold for a side draft 2V Webber. Fabricated my own adapter to add a 4 speed. Got some power, and better driveability , but it was no V8. and a hot 240Z would still outrun it.
What got my interest was the bullet proof bottom end, and the light weight, in comparison to a V8. I really thought it was the way to go road racing. What ultimately turned me off was total lack of ability to get the damned thing to breath.
Here's a company that's been around a long time. Not that I consider this worthwhile, but you might.

Good luck with what ever you do.

thanks scott. i may look into it, but again, why waste the money on that stuff when i can upgrade to a V8!
and ESP, bbl is barrel or v like a 2bbl or 4bbl or 2v or 4v carbs. it's a way to note how many holes/ports (whatever they are called, i forget what v stands for) are in the carb.

v is for venturi
v is for venturi
thank you. i just learned that like 2 days ago from another member, i just forgot what it stood for.
i have a similar question. i have a 4 bbl intake ready to be put on but i don't have a 4 bbl carb. i was thinking since i don't have much cash to spend on a new carb, i would get an adapter. but i wasn't sure if it would be worth it.
