So where i live theres a car dealership that sells used "fine"cars, tons of classic cars and close to new expensive car ie. porsche911c-4 , 2005 cheverolet corvette, 3002 mercedes benz 500 sl. Well to get to my point in there ad in the paper they have a 1966 ford mustang copue. The add reads "sauterne Gold Metallic over light Ivy Gold and White PONY interior, completely Original Pony Car!! Rare factory A/C!! Automatic Transmission, 289cu, very nice original driver, locally owned and garage kept. Asking 12,500.


What do you all think is that a good price? Are there any problems i should be aware of?? Ive always wanted an older mustang so my dad may be looking into getting this for him and I. Let me know and thanks in advance everyone!!

 

hell yea ac sounds good to me. ppl have offered me 25 thousand for mine and its not nearly as nice but go check it out a/c is worth it lol.

 

when it says originalPONY car what does that mean?!?!!? Is it anything special or is it just saying mustang basically

 

i would go check it out and make sure its in the condition they claim its in.... I would also bring someone that knows more then me to help.

 

Just got back from checking out the car and it was beautiful, the place was very busy, no sales people were available and i had to get home for work so no test drive today but the car looked great inside and out, its a funky color but i like it. The interior was in great condition the underside of the car was very clean deff. garage kept, there were a couple little and i mean little dings that are found on almost all cars but other than that the car was immaculate. Ill try and get some pics when i go take a test drive hopefully tomorrow.
