I have a craftsmen 30g air compressor will it be suficient enough for a sand blaster

Doubtful, I have a 6hp, 60gal and mine barely keeps up. You may have to stop and take a lot of breaks.

 

I have a 5hp with a 30 gallon tank and you can work for about 3-4 minutes then wait 10 min for pressure to build up. If you want to sandblast large areas rent a portable compressor that is powered by an engine. You can work until you run out of sand non stop.

 

Safety First...

if you use sand, be sure to use the proper respirator. that silica is nasty stuff.

 

Dont use sand. It sucks any ways.

 

thanks i believe ill just rent a compressor and do all of the blasting at once

 

If you haven't used a sand blaster before, be sure you practice on something other than your Mustang first, or consider using media such as walnut shells. The sand can warp thin metal in a hurry.
